It's with sadness I write this review. I took my car in for a brake service with no issues at all about a month ago. After a check all round d I was advised to have rear pads done along with works on athe e brake which meant the price went from £155 to just under £600. I agreed to the work. So the issue began when my fiancé picked the car up and called me to say there is a loud sqealing noise from the car. I reported this straight away to the garage who said please bring the car back. As my partner was at home which is round the corner I said I can bring the car back at a more suitable time. So after no driving the car and being able to take it today. I was told I had to pay an extra £180 for diagnosis. But the issue has directly.been caused by the work. So I refused to pay for an issue caused by the garage. Someone eveve reported my partner had drive with the handbrake on which is a total lie as she had only spoken to David?! Now I'm left with an issue caused by BMW Harrogate who I feel now are just here to get as much out if you as possible. Very disheartened about the situation they have left me in. I now have to look at options in getting my money back for the work done and getting said issue fixed. Handled poorly by the service manager who at first gave a good impression. If you use them be wary of the upsell they even use your data on services to cold call to upsell service plans and I can only Imagine the script they use and David even said it is a poor way of going about things. I'm so disappointed after using the garage for many years.
