I have just had my BMW in for a warranty repair and major service and the quality of the work and customer relations was superb from start to finish. I was assisted by Tasha, and mainly by a charming and genuinely helpful sales guy with a pony tail, beard and glasses (sorry I have forgotten the name) who provided the sort of service one always likes to receive but rarely does nowadays. I was kept informed throughout the process, the courtesy car process was seamless and of high quality, the work undertaken by BMW was excellent and when they undertook a service by accident, they did the right and proper thing and subsumed the cost without charging me. BMWs are superb cars, I have dealt with Stratstone Harrogate for a number of years and, to be fair, i have always encountered the same quality of service from them, and I wouldn’t hesitate to use them/purchase from them again.

Don’t think they know what they are doing?!
Absolutely disgusted with the service and threats made by their Service manager. Very unprofessional, left me and my young family without a vehicle, only concerned about getting their courtesy car back, no consideration for the customer. They still have my car with problems and are trying to runaway from helping me. Terrible experience!!

It's with sadness I write this review. I took my car in for a brake service with no issues at all about a month ago. After a check all round d I was advised to have rear pads done along with works on athe e brake which meant the price went from £155 to just under £600. I agreed to the work. So the issue began when my fiancé picked the car up and called me to say there is a loud sqealing noise from the car. I reported this straight away to the garage who said please bring the car back. As my partner was at home which is round the corner I said I can bring the car back at a more suitable time. So after no driving the car and being able to take it today. I was told I had to pay an extra £180 for diagnosis. But the issue has directly.been caused by the work. So I refused to pay for an issue caused by the garage. Someone eveve reported my partner had drive with the handbrake on which is a total lie as she had only spoken to David?! Now I'm left with an issue caused by BMW Harrogate who I feel now are just here to get as much out if you as possible. Very disheartened about the situation they have left me in. I now have to look at options in getting my money back for the work done and getting said issue fixed. Handled poorly by the service manager who at first gave a good impression. If you use them be wary of the upsell they even use your data on services to cold call to upsell service plans and I can only Imagine the script they use and David even said it is a poor way of going about things. I'm so disappointed after using the garage for many years.

I cannot praise the team at Stratstone BMW Harrogate highly enough and I delighted with my recent purchase of used 420i gran coupe. The car was presented in mint condition and the process of buying and trading in my old car was very smooth and efficient. Shak, who I dealt with, is very professional, knowledgeable and helpful. All aspects of my buying experience with the team were first class. Every part of my contact, be it phone calls, emails and meeting with Shak, to seeing David in the showroom, and being introduced to Ben after purchasing the car, left me with a lasting favourable and positive impression of the dealership.

Poor service and stuck up staff. Went in to purchase a car and the staff totally blanked me and wouldn’t even look at me even though they were stood doing nothing. Lost custom over thinking they are better than certain people who come into their store . Disgusting. Went to mercedes down the road instead and they were friendly, helpful and i didn’t feel judged like at bmw harrogate

The car itself is excellent and at a good price. The salesman, Shak Miah, was helpful straightforward and made the whole process stress free. The dealership has a great range of new and used cars, I bought a used approved 2 series, my first BMW, and unlikely to be my last.

We popped over to Harrogate, as York showroom was shut, to view a BMW we were both interested in. The service we recieved on that day was very professional, polite and un-rushed. We were both suprised to find the car we initially thought was our favourite, wasn't! However, the dealer asked what our requirements were. We told him about the car we saw on the York website and he accommodated us very well by searching cars they had within there group. Having spotted the car of our dreams, the dealer then showed us the same model (brand new) in there showroom, to ensure we liked it. We loved it!! We were listened too, our dealer added his experience and recommendation to help us make the right decision. Our purchase felt great and the car is awesome. Our dealer was Hayden...go and see him, he will not disappoint.
