The only reason this isn’t a 1 star…

The only reason this isn’t a 1 star review is that I was at least able to book through the site. Other than that the experience has been very disappointing.

The property I stayed at was run-down and dirty, nothing like the photos, but the real issue began afterwards. I’ve spent weeks trying to get a basic invoice for the stay, which was advertised as available. Booking.com repeatedly passed the responsibility to the property, who's still ignoring me to the day. Customer service has been shockingly bad. They're polite but entirely ineffective, with no accountability and no real resolution. I tried to raise a formal complaint, and it’s been left completely unaddressed. I feel like I hit a wall.

I can’t rely on this platform for business travel again.
