REFUND PROCESS IS APPALLING
Their information online about refunds is far from the truth.
They say to expect 14 days from when you return the item and a further 5 days from when they receive the item back.
My item took forever to reach them....however, they acknowledged receipt of parcel on 3rd April.....as of today, 15 April, still no refund received.
I have sent WhatsApp messages but you just get generic responses from AI Robots saying "it's going through the process". Raised a complaint via email which gives you a Complaint Ref # and promises to get back to you within 48 hours. That was 3 days ago and NOTHING/NO further response.
They are hanging onto thousands of customers money which will amount to £ thousands nationwide, all gaining interest for THEM from OUR money....it's disgraceful.
Other companies like M&S, Matalan, Tesco all manage to refund within 2 days.
This whole system should be REGULATED.
BEWARE before considering buying from Debenhams online 😡😡😡
