Not disability friendly
Shopping at Waterlooville is now a no-go for those with disabilities. I have been to the store three times lately to find no tills open (only the self-scan ones). The staff member looked hacked off and unhappy and could not scan my shop for me as they were so busy with full self-scan tills.
Thankfully, a lovely fellow customer scanned my shopping for me on this visit.
On speaking to the lovely customer service person (who looked embarrassed understandbly by me asking this question) advised they don't have enough staff and will not give extra hours to cover the standard tills, so they have been shut in early evenings. The staff looked so fed up, too, I felt sorry for them as it looked like there must be a bullying culture by their harrest faces. So I can understand why Sainsbury's can't find staff to work there.
