Awful service - will not replace broken item

Ordered a mirror (I should have read these reviews before). I had confirmation saying that my order had been placed and that the delivery company would be in touch. This did not happen - it arrived when we weren’t in so we were unable to check it. As soon as we picked up the box we could tell it was obviously broken.
I contacted the Range immediately asking for a replacement. Normally at this stage you expect an apology and for a new item to be sent or refund. Instead I had an email saying because it was from their “marketplace retailer” (still don’t know what that means) the need to see what they can do and have sent an email which they were hoping to get a response in three days! Five days later and nothing… I’m giving to the end of the week and will report to the bank.
