Valentine's Day Surprise Ruined.
i ordered WELL ahead of time (02/08/2025) to ensure the snack box I picked would be delivered to my husband at work on Valentine's Day. I paid $15.99 in shipping fees and picked the date in accordance with their instructions. I also spoke with CS over the phone to make sure they indicated that the delivery address is a business, the CS rep told me UPS takes this into account and that those deliveries typically happen before 9am. Okay, so far so good. I got an email 02/10 that my gift had shipped. I checked on the tracking information this morning and my gift still hasn't left Illinois (???) and it's now scheduled for delivery 02/17. The business isn't even open on President's Day, it's not Valentine's Day, and now my surprise which was guaranteed to arrive on the chosen date is completely ruined. Now I have to give my husband a lame excuse about Gourmet Gift Baskets being ass, not following through on their promises, and apparently giving zero f*cks (considering it's been 20 minutes and I'm still on hold with CS). Thanks so much, I love spending my hard-earned money on a company that doesn't deliver - literally or figuratively. There is literally no refund or coupon that can make up for the thing not being there on the day.
