Begrudgingly gave 1 star. Extremely poor service
First time i have had an issue with Yodel. I've always been impressed with the high level of service. Unfortunately that wasn't the case this time.
The driver knocked the door, i was unwell & unable to answer door. I recieved an email stating proof of delivery. Photo of delivery was my parcel on footpath. I'm sure the drivers are under pressure to get a certain amount of parcels delivered per day but, no excuse for basically abandoning my parcel. If it had been food items this would've be totally unacceptable for hygienic reasons. Luckily my neighbour seen parcel & kindly took it for me. Could've ended up a stolen/lost parcel. Also, would it not be better to take parcel & redeliver ? I highly doubt abandoning a parcel is in their contract !!
