Another frustrating experience with Chrono24


I want to share my deeply frustrating experience with Chrono24 regarding my order TC-9617666, which has been unresolved since January 9, 2025. Despite my efforts to resolve this issue, both Chrono24 and the seller, have placed responsibility on me for the seller’s mistake. This is not only unfair but entirely unacceptable.

The Situation:
1. Seller’s Mistake: The seller sent the wrong watch. It’s their responsibility to ensure the correct item is delivered.
2. DHL’s Role: If the incorrectly shipped watch is lost by DHL, the liability lies with the seller—not me, the buyer.
3. Chrono24’s Buyer Protection?: Chrono24 markets itself as offering robust Buyer Protection, but their handling of this issue has been anything but protective.

What Has Happened:
• On 11/01/2025, I requested a refund because the seller shipped the wrong watch.
• On 21/01/2025, the seller threatened, “As long as the watch is not in my possession, there will be no refund.”
• Chrono24 employees have also echoed this, stating a refund depends on the seller receiving back the incorrect watch.

Why This Is Wrong:

I did not order the wrong watch. The seller’s mistake has caused me unnecessary stress, wasted time, and placed me in an unfair position. Chrono24 should not allow sellers to shift their responsibility onto buyers, especially when their policies claim to protect customers.

My Request:
1. A full refund for the incorrect item shipped by the seller.
2. Compensation for the stress and inconvenience caused by this issue.

I hope this post serves as a warning to others. Chrono24 needs to be held accountable for ensuring sellers honor their obligations and buyers are protected.
