Easy to purchase a policy, hard to recover from a claim

My trip was interrupted because of the death of my mother. I filed a claim for reimbursement of trip expenses. Allianz kept asking for more documentation, including from DELTA who they sell their policies through. Nine weeks later, still no result or feedback.

They finally provided a result. They paid only $250 out of more than $1500 in the expenses not reimbursed by the providers. I've purchased this insurance more than 20 times. And this is the nature of their "coverage." I'll never buy Allianz insurance again. Delta's pushing of Allianz insurance has me reconsidering my loyalty to them.
