I had treatment 21 months ago but I have left this late because I wanted to see the results before I reviewed. The process was very professional, with the preparation pre-travel, greeting and information the day before treatment, during treatment, and post treatment. At times i did wonder if my regrowth was uneven and I had less hair on one side than the other, but now I am satisfied that a great job has been done.
I would be happy to return for a 2nd treatment on another area of my head.
For those of you reading this, who are a bit reluctant due to embarrassment of having a hair transplant, don’t be worried. Yes they shave your head and you are left with a bandage across the back of your head and bruising at donor and transplant receiving areas, but nobody shows any interest or looks at you funny at the airport. I was pretty embarrassed but upon arriving home, i realised i didn’t need to be. Get it done, you won’t regret it.
The first few weeks are tough. The head gets greasy and itchy. You are not allowed to scratch so the only rest bite is the shower. standing under the water for 10 minutes seems like a long time, but it’s absolute bliss!
One thing I didn’t really feel comfortable with pre treatment, was carrying around that much cash. The neighbourhood and the walk to the clinic was pretty safe though, and it went fine.
The apartment was nice. Just remember to stock up with food prior to treatment though, because you might not fancy walking to the store after treatment. Your new look might shock you :p
