Mocking agents/employees, trapped in my contract

Where do I start?

I was trying to find out if I can upgrade to a more expensive 2 year contract and upgrade my phone.

After talking to numerous agents- 2 were awesome (one, I forget his name, I know he is from the Philippines- was such an awesome guy!)- the rest were rude, cold, condescending, I even felt ridiculed- and one literally answered, when I transferred to her, with , “ So, like, you want, like, a new phone?”

After what seemed like forever- was informed that I could- but I would still pay the penalty for the remained of the contract- even if I returned my current device in exchange for a new one and signing a new, more expensive contract.

Basically, I am trapped. So people, do not sign any contracts- it is ultimately so not worth it.

Receiven an email (again, had this mocking undertone), essentially confirming I cannot uprade my contract without paying this ridiculous penalty. Very punitive.

Their in-person staff are cordial and awesome, remember this one employee Milan @Boardwalk Bell Store in Waterloo, ON- but everything else is subpar.
