Paid for, Out of Stock, Substitution Not As It Should Be
I’ve ordered an item, I got a confirmation email and the order was paid for. A few days later I get an email saying that my item, tennis shorts, is suddenly out of stock and that I can substitute the item for any tennis shorts that are listed as in stock, however, I’d need to pay any price difference for the substitution. Not only should this store’s website be updated IN REAL TIME so that customers are not able to order and pay for items that are indeed not avaliable (out of stock), the customer should also be able to substitute for an item from the same category at the price originally paid, so that the mistake is owned up for by the store - that’s what I understand as proper customer service!
