Updated: App problems put me off of buying
Just a happy update to my below story:
The company very swiftly got in touch with me following the review, phoned me and noted all the issues I was having. Even took some suggestions for the improvements on the app.
I never ordered from a company being so interested to understand where things are going wrong. Really impressed. I will be awaiting the potential tech fixes and see how it goes but for now they even gave me a discount for the time I spent talking to them.
This is how it should be. 🙂

We’ve been getting our milk from Modern Milkman for more than a year. Apart from few minor hiccups and some unavailable goods there never was a problem. But what has been happening recently (since the launch of the majorly rejigged app) is absolute shambles.
The adding, removing and cancellation of items is unreliable and that’s a mild word. I had goods turning up that I had cancelled (well in advance), I have multiple times added and app showing the good will come and they didn’t. The overview page featuring the next scheduled delivery doesn’t match up the orders page after making change. I would say it’s mostly happening when you change the pattern of deliveries or when you change numbers of products. The skipping of existing deliveries seems to work.
In the last two months I must’ve reported at least 4 issues of that kind. The staff is helpful and resolves it by amending payments and making manual adjustments but that doesn’t solve the fundamental issues with the app. Staff states the problems are glitches in the system.
I’m writing this review so that the message gets to the developers and managers. I was happy using you guys but now I’m finding myself having to make plans B just in case the milk doesn’t show up, sometimes I end up having no milk in the house. I really don’t want to stop using your company because otherwise I love the whole idea. Please get the things sorted PROPERLY!!!
