Bad Experience with CentralNic Reseller Program
My experience with the CentralNic Reseller Program has been less than a cakewalk. Right at the very beginning, I had to deal with so many technical issues. Besides, I had to keep following up with them for a lot of times just to get an answer. When they did take the pain of responding, they put the blame on their Zendesk system, which in my view is a really lousy reason.
After struggling and getting an email back, they told me the name of my company was too long to put on their platform. I mean, this is an astoundingly dumb system limitation that would not make any sense. How lousy the design of the platform actually is can be spoken for by the fact that this is promised to be a system limitation.
To make matters worse, I never got hold of any of their systems whatsoever. All these problems happened before I had the chance to join their reseller program. Kudos to me for walking away from all this mess that was becoming a company. If anything, it's this lousy pre-joiner experience. Imagine how nasty it must be as a reseller. Avoid CentralNic at all costs.
