Useless! Avoid!!

I am extremely frustrated with Yodel's service. I was expecting a delivery scheduled for 18th May, with a given two-hour time slot in the morning. Following the tracker on the app, it stated I was the next delivery. Several hours after it didn't arrive, I contacted Yodel and was told it could arrive any time up until 9pm.

As I no longer had any idea what time the delivery would arrive, I had to cancel my plans, so I could make sure I was there when it arrived. Then at 7pm, I received an email stating:
"Hi,

We need a little more help delivering your parcel. We've already spoken to your retailer so please get in touch with your parcel sender to provide a few more details."

Checking with the retailer, it stated the following:"Address incorrect. Delivery address not recognised. Please contact our customer care to verify your address."

Frustratingly, there was nothing wrong with my address on record, so it seemed odd that this was their reason for not delivering. Even more so, considering I had been chasing up the delivery, they could have easily resolved this when I was on their live chat.

Conveniently, this email arrived after Yodel's customer support had closed, so I could not even chase it up.

On the 20th, they miraculously rescheduled the delivery. Somehow the address was suddenly valid!

This is now the second time I've had issues with Yodel. Previously, they delivered my items to the wrong house, and I was forced to track the parcel down myself! This kind of service is unacceptable.

Absolutely useless. Avoid, if you can
