Totals being miscalculated
I contacted Rivers a few weeks ago because I'd noticed that all the sale/discounted items in my online purchase bag had calculated the sub-totals and totals based on the original price. So instead of calculating 2 items multiplied by $5.00 they calculated all the totals as 2 items multiplied by $29.99!
I contacted them by phone twice and sent copies of the incorrect calculations twice.
Today I deleted all the items in my on-line bag and re-entered them, one by one. But shock horror the same issue was still present - luckily I checked before submitting the entry and once again the original prices had been used to calculate all totals, not the discounted prices.
Why aren't the clearance prices being used? My feeling is that they get your money then argue that you agreed to the inflated total leaving you no recourse but to fight them in court for a refund. Most people won't so they rip off customers with no penalty.
Really abysmal service utilising a crap on-line site that can't calculate prices of discounted items.
