Ordered in November 2024and still have not received the order ( 12/01/2025, i have sent them many emails just to get a reply still waiting on the third party, absolute rubbish, been a customer for a long time, will NEVER buy online again.

This company is run by the greatest bunch of fuckwits known to man.They have NEVER replied to any email and I’ve been a customer for 30 fukn years .Today I tried chasing an order they were paid for on 2.1.25 and cause I didn’t get a receipt with order number my case ends.Hopefully Afterpay can refund my money.Makes you wonder why these pathetically run businesses are going broke
Garbage company
Garbage company - no better than a complete scammer. I ordered $300 worth of items, not only do they never give me any update on the order, but every time I login to the website they have changed my personal details. They keep giving me different random surnames and delivery addresses!! I can't even lodge a complaint properly because the order number doesn't work in their stupid form and their tracking numbers provided don't lead anywhere.
Total joke of a company
What a total joke this company is. Ordered shoes 2 weeks ago and still not sent. The shoes are now no longer needed and they refuse to refund me. Just a grub of a company.

Quality of goods is worse than garbage
Quality of goods is worse than garbage. Bought a jacket with sherpa on the inside and lined sleeves. Within a week the lining in the sleeves had split down the entire length of the sleeve. At the same time I ordered a sweat shirt with white tape design sewn on the front, after one wash the tape had started to fall off. Also ordered a pair of faux sheepskin ankle boot slippers, the soles fell off within two weeks. Don’t waste your money, the cheap stuff from The Warehouse is much, much, much better.
Kmart shoes last longer
Bought some ankle boots for work about 4 months ago. I walk a lot but not more than a well-made pair of shoes should handle. I have a similar pair of boots from Kmart that I've had for a year and the soles are worn but otherwise they're fine. In contrast, the Rivers boots are completely falling apart - holes worn in the soles, and the soles separating from the shoe. Horrible, I'd give 0 stars if I could.

First and last time buying from this store. I should’ve checked reviews before making my purchase as it seems I’m not the only one that won’t be buying off them again.
I ordered pants and received the wrong colour. They expect me to pay to send it back when they got it wrong in the first place. They have not been helpful AT ALL. Never buying from this place again and I’ll make sure everyone I know is aware of this experience so they don’t go through it.

I ordered online on a sale item, paid and received a confirmation number but no further communication. After waiting 5 days of no communication nor any parcel receipt, I phoned the 1800 number. I was told their system cancelled my order. No reason given. There was no problem with my credit card. No communication/email received to inform me of this and why. I was told I could re-order online at the full price and if and when I received the item, I could apply for a refund of the balance. No guarantee as to how or when items are mailed.
I've bought a black denim styled jacket with silver…
I've bought a black jacket with silver buttons. They sell these in different colours. As I was taking it overseas on holidays, I cut off the Rivers tag. I handwashed it and allowed it to drip dry but immediately it was wet, it wrinkled terribly. The collar went out of shape and there is now tiny elastic threads popping out of the material. When i get home I'm taking it back!

Totals being miscalculated
I contacted Rivers a few weeks ago because I'd noticed that all the sale/discounted items in my online purchase bag had calculated the sub-totals and totals based on the original price. So instead of calculating 2 items multiplied by $5.00 they calculated all the totals as 2 items multiplied by $29.99!
I contacted them by phone twice and sent copies of the incorrect calculations twice.
Today I deleted all the items in my on-line bag and re-entered them, one by one. But shock horror the same issue was still present - luckily I checked before submitting the entry and once again the original prices had been used to calculate all totals, not the discounted prices.
Why aren't the clearance prices being used? My feeling is that they get your money then argue that you agreed to the inflated total leaving you no recourse but to fight them in court for a refund. Most people won't so they rip off customers with no penalty.
Really abysmal service utilising a crap on-line site that can't calculate prices of discounted items.
Rivers likes to SPAM...

They are SPAMMERS because when you actually ring the number they texted from, it is, you guessed it, not connected/not available etc. BAD business practice and guaranteed to make me NOT BUY ANYTHING anymore from this company.
False advertising for NZ
Advertise NZ, then when your make the purchase, money is taken out your bank account and a while later they send an email saying the item is not sent to NZ. Then your receive the money back in your bank account.
Is that not false advertising???
