Not so good unless your prescription is straightforward

Have both been using pharmacy2u for quite a while with no problems….that is until they updated their website!!! I have a simple rx and it’s still fine but…..My husband is on warfarin and you’re unable to repeat rx without further confirmation. Was ok when he was able to speak to a person but now with the auto system it’s useless…have to wait for a callback to speak to an actual person..tried yesterday and waited for an hour, now today been waiting for a callback for over 4 hrs. Update didn’t get call back at all 17/4 😳 Not the first time either he just ends up being really frustrated so thinking of going elsewhere…
Update Had a prompt response from Pharmacy2u 18/4 and they were finally able to process the prescription for us!!! very frustrating experience..

I am very sorry for the difficulties you are experiencing with ordering one of your husband's medications. Having spoken with our IT department it seems the issues with ordering medications that require extra information to be added, such as Warfarin, are still under investigation.

Unfortunately, we do not currently have a lead time for this to be identified and resolved. I understand that this is leading to you having to call us, which I can only apologise for. 

To hopefully take away some inconvenience, we have sent you an email which can be used as a point of contact to order this medication in the meantime.

Alternatively, you can contact us via Facebook, Instagram or Twitter. 

We have updated our automated telephony system in line with the latest advancements in AI (Artificial Intelligence), as we did find our old telephony system was outdated. Our automated system can handle a variety of different queries. If the automated service is unable to assist with your query you would be transferred through to an agent that will take over your query. The update was intended to add functionality to improve the user experience, I am sorry this was not the case for you, and that you found the ordering system more difficult.

We appreciate your feedback, as this helps us to continue improving our service and our telephone system. This will be briefed to our development team who are still making amendments where necessary.
