You can’t revive dead flowers

My wife was sent flowers as a bereavement however the 3 stems of stocks are way past their best, one with a snapped stem. We have used them before with mixed results but these arrived in tge poorest condition I’ve ever seen a flower delivery and much of the bouquet has not revived overnight in water.
They obviously didn’t even read the above as the response says they were selected by my wife when she was sent them!!!
