I recently had a deeply unsatisfactory experience with Slicehosting, and I feel compelled to share my concerns with the community.
From the outset, their customer service was subpar, lacking the responsiveness and care one would expect from a paid service. The level of support provided was terrible, with minimal effort to address my concerns or provide viable support.
One major issue was the misrepresentation of their backup services. Despite assurances, it became apparent that the promised file backups were not being handled as claimed. This not only led to frustration but also put my data at risk, highlighting a breach of trust. And that lead to us losing our months of hardwork to nothing (almost a year).
Moreover, there were instances where misleading information was provided, and it seemed like the company did not value its paying customers. Honesty and transparency are crucial in any business relationship, and unfortunately, Slicehosting fell short on these fronts.
In conclusion, my experience with Slicehosting has been nothing short of disappointing. I would caution potential customers to thoroughly research and consider alternatives before investing in a service that seems to lack the commitment to customer satisfaction.
