ADT poor customer service, under par equipment

I’m not impressed with ADT’s services. As a new customer we paid a large sum for their equipment and for it to be installed. This is a monitored service. Firstly the doorbell camera device would record everything; birds flying past & windy trees would trigger a clip to be recorded. But not 2 cars leaving our driveway. The clip upload rate created storage problems and then after a week or 2 of this it would record nothing else. An engineer from ADT said there was an updated doorbell with features to exclude said bushes. Someone came to install this. It worked for about a week and now does not work at all. It has disconnected from the WiFi. An easy fix you would think? Nope. ADT are the key holders and none of this is operable at customer level. So they’re sending out an engineer again. This time they are VERY busy and there are no service appointments available for over 4 weeks! Also this is a monitored system, Iget a notificationevery other day to remind me that my doorbell camera has been offline since the beginning of January. Not once have ADT contacted me to check the status is correct. Now they send out a letter saying that the subscription price is increasing!
I think I will cancel their services altogether.
Off the shelf tech is better than the equipment they have have supplied.
