Just really disappointed and upset after being a customer for a few years
Just really disappointed and was left feeling upset and asked them not to respond to me anymore because of how horrible I was being made feel.
I have used these guys for a few years and I made a complaint as customers of mine have been complaining that the tape is not working right, not too many only a few rolls. I raised a complaint but did not follow it through as I am a mum with a child and one on the way and trying to run a business, I absorbed the costs of these for a few months and I am not selling as much due to this at the moment compared to when I was working full time.
I then had a long term customer complain and also a tape I used not work. The tape doesn't unwind it just all sticks together.
I brought it to them and yes it was 15 months since the order of tapes so fair enough I wasn't asking for compensation but I got an immediate blame that it was my fault. No response suggesting ok we can sort this out and maybe offer a small credit note on future orders or maybe reprint some of the tapes considering I have already paid a plate charge or something but no just blame on me for not storing them right (which I have done) and also a suggestion that I wasn't placing enough orders for it to really matter. I told them I would have to look elsewhere as I was not happy and this was the reply
'That’s fine if you feel that way and you would like to look elsewhere, from our records you make an order a couple of times a year.'
I am sorry but that is suggesting I only make a couple of orders a year so it does not bother them to try and look after me. I may only make a few orders but these orders have been about £600 each.
Also I have 6 designs I print with them, not one design has ever done what these particular rolls of tape have been doing so that very strongly implied it was a fault maybe in a few rolls. They are stored correctly and so why was the blame placed on me.
I hate leaving anyone bad reviews but I just found this awful. I have a big company I use for frames and anytime a set of frames has been faulty they resend me them no questions asked with my next order. I was on maternity leave and had placed an order nearly 2 years before and found faulty frames and they replaced. Their argument with me was no company would offer compensation after 15months, yes fair enough maybe some don't but I have first hand experience of one doing it (rink it trade account). I wasn't asking a whole new set of 200+ rolls to be sent, I was asking for help and a decent conversation but what I got was the opposite. Below was the response about that..
'We cannot compensate you for this in any way due to the timescale of keeping the products.
Any consumer buying from a company big or small would know that companies wouldn’t compensate any faulty products 15 months from ordering.'
Sad about this and sorry for the negativity but this is what happened.
