A totally unacceptable shambles

I was due to have an annual service and, as always, I had to contact D & G to arrange that. I logged on to my account and for some time went around in circles, as there was no obvious option to book a service, only a repair. I finally got to a 'service' option, only for the page to be unavailable because of a problem. I phoned and was directed to the engineer's number, and I arranged a service. The engineer identified a couple of repairs to be done, and I am now waiting to be contacted by them. D & G have contacted me by email on a few occasions, including a request for feedback (this feedback), and on each occasion they have referred to a 'repair' to my boiler. It was a service, not a repair, and the work that needs to be done as a result is still outstanding, therefore any review is premature. I will submit a further review when the work is complete. Update - 30th Sept. Thank you Richard, I contacted D & G and arranged an engineer visit for today (30th Sept). I received an email and a SMS message confirming that on 30th. Nobody came and I was not contacted by anyone! I couldn't contact the engineers as they were closed (they don't work on a Saturday apparently). I rang D & G but there was a possible wait time of an hour to speak to someone. I will now have to chase this up next week, as clearly nobody will be contacting me. This whole experience has been totally unacceptable and I will be ending all contact with D & G after this episode.
