Verification totally useless

To do anything requires automatic passport and selfie for verifcation. It simply does not work for me, ive tried 50+ times.

Support said I can upload documents instead. I uploaded them, was told they were approved and was now able to send £20 to my account to verify further.

After sending £20 it again asked me to verify with those broken automated method. Support now said manual verification is not possible. Despite it asking for the exact same documents they already approved three times and verified me in the first place.

So manual verification is okay if you want to send them money, but not if you want to do anything else, got it!

And its not my devices or lighting. I used a Pixel 7 countless times and then tried again with a Sony DSC-RX10M3 as a webcam. Still not good enough apparently.

In this case, it does sound like you're experiencing a bug with the verification process, so please check if you can update the app, or delete it and download it again to see if this fixes the issue.
