Undelivered item

I arranged for my item to be left at a local drop off point as I knew I wouldn’t be home for a few days. The courier ‘Evri’ claim the item was delivered on Sunday 23rd. They sent a confirmation delivery email with an image attached. I am well aware that this drop off point is not open on a Sunday and the image shows the parcel on the floor of a public alleyway at the side of the building. Ive contacted the drop off point today and, not surprisingly they say they have not taken delivery of my item. I’ve contacted Whistles who say I have to complete a form denying delivery. The form claims the delivery was signed for, which is impossible as there was no one there. I have now have to jump through hoops to sort this out. I think it’s the courier Whistles should be taking to task, not me! Very shabby service and behaviour. I would not recommend this service.

Thank you for taking the time to leave us this feedback.
I am sorry to hear that there has been some issues with your delivery and getting the issue resolved. We are aware that the Denial of Receipt that was sent to you will say that the order has been signed for. We are aware in this instance that this is not the case but we would just need a signature, name and date on the form and for this to be sent back to us and we can then advise further on the refund for you.
I do apologise for the inconvenience caused here and this is not the kind of service we would expect our customers to receive from ourselves or our couriers.
