Initially it went very well but then I…

Initially it went very well but then I was asked to collect my car 2 days earlier than previously arranged. I called 1st Central but it can't be done and I was advised to start again then cancel the one for which I had paid so was put through to sales who quoted me £360 more because I was not doing it it on line! So I went on line but could not match the premium I had been offered 12 hours before. I really do not understand

Unfortunately, once a policy is set up, we can't change the start date. The price of insurance and rating factors change daily, so the price of insurance can go up or down. However, we can confirm that your policy is live, as of today.
