Disappointed and stressed by customer service
I am sorry to be writing this because I hate giving bad reviews, but the difficulties I am having with this company are now causing me stress. It’s a complicated story but the bottom line is, because of confusion with my different email addresses, I thought they were not sending me the item and I was being scammed. I had paid through PayPal and so I got PayPal to withdraw the payment.
I ordered the same pan from Amazon and it arrived the next day.
I continued to get emails telling me my order was incomplete, so I was pretty surprised to receive the pan yesterday from Jean Patrique.
I phoned the company immediately and told them what had happened. The person I spoke to was polite and helpful and said she would send a courier to collect it but she just had to check with PayPal.
She phoned me back today and was like a different person. Told me I had to take it to the post office and pay for the return postage because the error was my fault because I didn’t cancel the order with them.
I said they could collect it and she said they would not and they would take the money via PayPal. I was quite staggered at the change in attitude and was quite upset by the end of it. I have had heart surgery recently and started having palpitations as a result so I had to get off the phone.
I have had a further email but they are insisting I pay the postage.
They are still sending me numerous marketing emails, ironically offering me a discount offer, the value of which is much more than the postage would be!
By the way I have used the Jean Patrique pan I received from Amazon and it seems to be very good.
