Bad service once they've got your stuff

The collection was fantastic. I don't want to criticise those guys at all. But the company themselves have be unhelpful since then. The website when I booked led me to believe my stuff would be stored in Wandsworth but actually it went to Uxbridge. It turns out they don't have a Wandsworth facility even though it's listed on the website. They say you can log in to the website to view your account but there's often no logging in option and when there is you just get a message saying that page isn't working at the moment. I called and they said they'd call back but didn't. So I called again. They said they 'serve' the area of Wandsworth but don't have a facility there. My stuff is in Uxbridge which wasn't mentioned when I booked. I can only visit it from 9am-4pm on weekdays which is when I work. I suppose I should have thought of that when booking, but it seems like it won't be ideal for a lot of people. I was going to book this week because it's half term so I'm off but it has to be booked 2 days before so I couldn't get a spot. I really would have expected to be able to visit at weekends. So now I'm kind of trapped unable to get to my stuff because it's so far and only available when I'm at work. It took lots of calls to even get the information I have when they tell you it's very easy and you can log on online. Not great given I'm paying £110 per month. I wouldn't recommend. And I can't help but think it's purposely left vague as to where your stuff is ending up and while they don't actually lie and say they have closer facilities when they don't, they definitely imply that.

We try to be as clear as possible in terms of where items are stored and the service provided. Following your feedback, we will look at making this clearer.

We are able to offer our service at rock bottom prices partly due to the no frills approach. Having 24/7 access usually costs more than twice what we charge for Mon-Fri 09.00-16.00 access. This represents a huge saving for our customers. We find that only 5% of customers actually need access on a regular basis and that they would rather pay less for what amounts to the majority of time in storage.
