I have availed the dance and bounce…

I have availed the dance and bounce (except the games) package for my daughter’s birthday.Unfortunately, we were not happy with the service that we received.
First of all, they came late. All the guest have already arrived and the kids have been running around when they came in and started setting up the bouncy castle.

Also, we are not satisfied with the songs played. I emailed days before the event requesting for frozen songs and they confirmed. But during the event,not even a single frozen theme song was played! And the music was not loud enough.I was so busy entertaining the guests and i didn’t have time to tell them what to play. I was really disappointed.my daughter loves frozen, specially the songs. It could have made her happier on her birthday.

I paid for 200+ for something this and I can say that it is not worth it.
I emailed this feedback to them but i did not get any reply. I was so disappointed.

We are struggling to put together a good response unfortunately.

It's worth noting, looking at the date you left the review and your actual party date, it took you 7 months to leave us a review.

You said you paid 200+ and in your opinion, it was not worth it, but failed to mention you strictly requested you did not want any party games and just requested for the DJ to play music. With that in mind, we did actually discount the package for you which in fairness, we could have charged you the same.

Your main points of complaint are late arrival, the music being too quiet and no 'Frozen' soundtracks were played. I am struggling to understand that you'd made a comment about paying £200+, but didnt have the time to ask the DJ to put a song on and turn up the music as you were too busy entertaining the guests, even though that was the role of our DJ, it would have taken no more than 60 seconds to speak to them.

As for the lateness, we contacted you before we were due to arrive to advise the van is on its way but due to congestion on the M1, we may be a few minutes late and at this time, you were understanding of this.

Now from experience, negative reviews come same day or the the next, when the customer is feeling most upset by the situation, not a whole 7 months later. I know from previous parties, that if the music isn't loud enough or even, too loud, the children are quite confident and outgoing enough to shout up to the DJ/Entertainer and let them know.

I cant help but feel this review is not genuine as it really does lack any valid content to even leave a 1 star review, all because you didn't have a spare 60 seconds to speak to the DJ and ask for the music to be louder and to play a handful of soundtracks from 'Frozen'.
