Ok so Betway I made a negative review about that fact they restricted my account without any prior warning, no nothing. After depositing £100 that particular day (nothing unusual at all)

They replied with the following in a private email after writing the poor review on here by email:

The review was regarding your account being limited without being advised.
We can confirm that we
take Responsible Gambling and your well-being very seriously. For this reason, we conduct reviews on all our customers, and as a result of a review your account has been set this limit of £100 per month.
Our review has only established that you may be at a greater financial risk
due to gambling.

Ok so now £100 A MONTH?!
Based on what exactly?

So I’ve replied:
I want you provide me with all the information you have as to why you have come up with this figure.

Proof that this figure has not just been conjured up by you and the information you have received warrants such a reduction. I look forward to seeing your data

Lo and behold no reply so I thought I’d share these shady practices in here so all can see first hand into what happens to people with this company when they are due to do some serious RTP!

This clearly is the only way you’ll get a response from these dodgy gets - as it’s eats into margins getting poor reviews. Well answer your customers with legitimate and warranted, proof included responses and stop taking people for idio*ts - I will not let this go. So get your data to me and demonstrate how you came up with such a move, otherwise next trading standards or better the gambling commission.
