Awful service from yodel for 48hours…
Awful service from yodel for 48hours and still counting.
Purchased an item from very who use Yodel for the electrical goods.
Item was due to be delivered tuesday (yesterday), waited in all day but at 1pm did a live chat with yodel as the parcel still didnt show as out for delivery.
Yodel told me it would be delivered before 6pm.
At 3:31pm i got a message on the app from yodel saying 'no one was in'. I was working at home and no attempt was made. I messaged yodel again, they said the driver was 3miles away in the local town and must have got lost!
Today, wednesday, again no updates on tracking site so at 10am i message yodel and told it would be delivered today.
4pm i message and ask for an update and told it failed to leave the depot and it would not be delivered tomorrow (Thursday!). I changed plans to be in all day today so im frustrated.
To rub salt in the wound, yodel informed me that because 2 deliveries had failed that if tomorrow fails the item will be returned to the depot and i'd need to collect it - the depot is an hour away!!
No apology from yodel and they are not willing to accept that two attempts havnt been made - when clearly there have been no attempts....
It feels to me that because we are rural and a few miles away from a town the drivers cant be bothered to deliver to us for the little yodel pay them!
Avoid yodel is given the chance, the service is poor and the advisors on webchat reply with copy and paste replies.... no less than 8 times have i been told it might help the drivers if i download the app and specific information about where we live, which i have already done and more importantly we are the only house on the post code where no couriers ever miss us - this is out of pure laziness on yodels part!!!
