SCAMMERS , LIARS AND THIEVES -

I’ve now sent The Range a legal letter. This company is fraudulent.

After endless communication with The Range following being sent the worst bit of tat I've ever received -following a fake delivery date and fake delivery details - the table was suddenly sent the day it was meant to be delivered, I received a table VERY badly made with a chunk missing and following 2.5 hrs on hold I got through to a call centre in the Philippines with some uhelpful woman saying I CAN'T HEAR YOU! Nothing was done to have the table returned. I then saw on the order email that it involved another now I have discovered a shady company called VERTY FURNITURE -their ‘partner’ I contacted them and was promised the table was going to be picked up and I would be refunded. The table was collected on the morning of Weds Dec 14th and I was promised I would be refunded on Thursday but now saying the refund has to be The Range directly yet the collection note was The Range because it was collected by Verty - the partner. I will be leaving negative reviews for both companies until I hear back then I will be publishing all the emails. I have also contacted Trading Standards and have filed a case against them as they responded to me yesterday with which I have a reference number. This company needs closing down, they rip off everyone and even have a facebook page called RIPPED OFF BY THE RANGE. They try and wear people down hoping they give up but actually it does the opposite to me. I will keep going until I get justice. I was told I was meant to receive a refund yesterday but they have still not refunded and impossible to get through to them. Verty funiture their partner confirmed they have refunded them but need to refund me so still waiting!

I phoned their cs again last night and spent another hour on the phone to only speak to a rude unhelpful robot who put me on hold for a further 20 mins then hung up on me! They’re crooks complete crooks

I also find it ironic how with every complaint Judy responds with - this is not indicative of our service but with the endless complaints on here and on the Facebook group page RIPPED OFF BY THE RANGE - yes this is very much indicative of your service. Ripping people off - which you won't keep getting away with as there are more and more people joining that group and leaving reviews, house of cards!

I am sorry to hear about the issues with your order. I understand that you feel you were scammed and I can only apologise for this. Upon looking into this I can confirm that the order is sold and dispatched by a range plus partner which is showing as being return receiver however I cannot locate a refund being processed and so we have emailed the relevant department in order to chase this. We will update you further as soon as we can. We aim to address those queries that have been the longest in waiting for a response. As such, the best way to ensure we reach your ticket as quickly as possible is to refrain from sending any follow up emails as this would send your ticket to the back of the queue as the system counts it as “updated”.
