I will never use Allstate protection plans again!
I have used Allstate protection plans for year's, always an easy process, no complaints.Recently though it seems things have changed. I spent over 6 hours getting documents and sending, taking all pictures they asked for, had 3 different departments ask for same info , sent it to all of them. Then a new dept.agent sent an email to say wrong policy closing the claim ; because I also sent my new purchase of a dinette and a new policy to cover it, SEPERATE item, and policy, made that clear as well. I have had at least 10 items insured with them. But will never use them again. Now there are many companies doing this, recently got something covered with Assurian, if I need to make a claim, we shall see how they do.

When the first chair from Amazon was refunded by the manufacturer, your agent said the same policy would cover my replacement chair from Curacao, when the purchase was delivered I sent the invoice then, purchased June 7 2022, think it was like the 12th it was delivered and invoice was submitted. Three months later after tightening everything I could find to tighten, I decided it was not helping with the chair basically rocking side to side and up and back making a bunch of noise filed a claim and included the invoice and then next email wanted the receipt AND pictures, gladly submitted those, then got an email saying I needed to call snd have the chair right by me, now we are over two weeks into this, I work 6 days a week on PST so not a wide window to call . Plus after putting over 4 hours into this nonsence, I figured my time was very valuable and I had exhausted more than the chair actually cost already.You folks were awesome 3 years ago, not a single complaint from me very satisfied, now a totally different corporate culture, seems like a different company actually. Strangely, now you have competition, so it's simpler to give them a try than to keep going around on your hampster wheel. So the invoice was never the issue. Forgot you also said I had to call Curacao to get the manufacturer of chair, they proceeded to inform me that they do not have one listed, nothing on invoice nothing on chair, I think that was the REAL problem. So now I have 5 hours into this @ $20 an hour I've wasted $100 of my time on a chair that cost $99!
After the invoice had been sent 3 times, phone call made, pictures submitted I had NO PROBLEM submitting the receipt. I am a professional fundraiser with a Bachelors degree, have some basic skill sets in computer applications, so what IS the real problem Square Trade???
