4 mins late this morning for my mot due to traffic and they refused my mot ! obviously they like to pick and choose their work in Whitburn ! Disgusting customer service and would not recommend them. Mechanics all standing behind the desk when I went in obviously not in any rush to do anything.

Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry that we could not carry out your MOT at the appointed time due to you arriving a bit later than was arranged.
MOT Tests run in order and are given 1 hour time slots. We do have customers that fail to turn up for various reasons. When a customers has not met the arranged time we move onto the next, car.
Once an MOT test is logged onto the DVSA system the test cannot be halted or changed, it has to go ahead. This is what happened in your case. You arrived later than arranged and the next car was tested so that other customers were not put out by a delay not caused by D&G Autocare. However, you were offered the slot of the vehicle that had taken your place.
The testing station is covered by one MOT Tester. The other mechanics behind the desk were receiving their work orders from the Branch Manager at the start of their shift, including arranging vehicle collections and drop offs.
