I checked the tread depth it was approx 7 mm new and I bought falken allweather for my other car and found the tyre depth to be approx 8. now when you take away 1.6 legal limit or the recommended limit of 3mm 1 mm is a lot the michelin also has a raggy finish the rubber isn't cleanly cut off
