Hello?… Anybody there?…

Order number 1200718180 (parasol) - Placed 7th Aug with delivery due 10th Aug just in time for the hot weekend approaching.. Fabulous.. Opted for this company due to the delivery date.. Dispatch email sent 8th Aug - Item is on its way.. Fabulous.. No tracking available but should be “a few days”.. Vague, bit random, but okay.. No further contact.. Called 12th for an update.. After whirling round the automated system what felt like 100 times, where at one point worryingly it said my “click n collect” item had been dispatched (my email clearly states shipping address to my home, which I stupidly paid for because I didn’t realise free delivery was only an option with a code - My bad) finally found an avenue for potential human interaction - Great.. 15 mins on hold.. Not great.. Gave up.. Tried the chat.. After the auto service had dried up all automated responses, no humans appeared.. Sent an email, with auto response - up to 5 working days response time which to be fair, we are still within - However due to going on holiday soon I need a resolve and I literally can not reach anyone.. The response time on here, appears to be much quicker (I mean it’s literally hours by the looks of it) than your other avenues of tried and failed contact methods.. With an item dispatched 8th Aug - We’re now on Working Day #6.. Not horrendous but not great and not what was proposed upon ordering.. I’m happy for you to cancel this order.. Tried to call again today but got lost again in the automated system with no idea how I managed to progress last time.. So I’ve given up (just to note I genuinely hate leaving any form of negative comment as incidents happen and I’m a pretty chilled and understanding customer.. Is it annoying? Yes.. Did I melt all weekend and end up hibernating in a cool room indoors? Yes.. But it’s clear there’s been a delivery issue here but your lines of communication are so difficult that I’ve felt I’ve been left no choice but to reach out on a public platform, just to get some response, in a timely manner)

I am sorry to hear about the issues you have faced with the delivery of your order. As I am sure you will appreciate, this is definitely not what we wish our customers. Providing exceptional customer service is something that we pride ourselves on, and I apologise that, on this occasion, we have fallen short of your and our expectations. We are keen to put this right for you.

As your order totals over £50, a refund has now been processed for the delivery charge. We kindly ask that you allow 3-5 working days for this to reflect in your account.

Regarding the delivery, the tracking is showing as at the delivery depot and will be out for delivery shortly. We have also raised this to the supplier to request a further update.
