Nejira to the rescue
I have been recently caught in a major quandary. I changed my Mother's supplier for gas and electric in September 2021, the new supplier then went instantly bust (not my fault) and was put into a lengthy process of allocating a new supplier. Whilst that was ongoing, my mother passed away, and I took over the accounts. Fly forward 9 months and I was still waiting for the switch to be completed to Octopus, so I contacted them yesterday, and today with the very helpful Nejira on my side, it is all sorted out.
