Lost a customer today.
I went in for two specific items and it should have been a quick visit.
1. The queue to pay was extremely slow and took ages to actually get anywhere. They eventually opened another till but there was a long delay.
2. When I was being served, it turned out that neither of my items had a barcode on them. The cashier made me feel like this was my fault and that I had caused such a massive inconvenience. He went off to find another item with the barcode on (which also seemed to take ages). I don't feel that it is my responsibility to make sure that the products have barcodes on them.
3. The price of my items scanned higher at the till than the label on the shelf. I did mention this to the cashier who wasn't interested. I was losing my patience at this point, so just paid the higher price and left. Would be better if the shelf prices were accurate.
I won't be returning.
