Non existent customer services

Very quick to take money for a booking but absolutely horrendous to communicate with if there are any issues. My holiday booked for 5-12 May couldn’t go ahead due to myself catching covid. I have been trying since that date (todays date 12 May) to get through to LH without success. A no show invoice is needed for insurance purposes and a flight tax refund. Phone up and put booking ref in as requested and then the call gets disconnected. Try the booking app and the bot service either doesn’t work or cannot answer your question. There is nothing on the app which allows you to make any requests or queries to get any help.
