When is super fast fibre not super fast…

When is super fast fibre not super fast fibre ….. when it’s copper boys and girls it’s a con it’s fibre to the cabinet at the end of the road and the rest is in copper (a heap slower ) I signed up for the 1g and If I said I’ve had 42 men and 21 vans over 5 aborted cable pulls and 3 attempts to put 1m of duct in the ground in soft tarmac 2 data engineers to tell me the “copper” to the house is not man enough then followed 7 no shows for the final cable pull in the last 2 weeks and over 20 hours on the phone , laughed at , hung up on , left hanging for hours , lied to , it’s like ground hog day and the best speed I achieved was 850 on the day the engineer appeared the rest is the mid 250ies ….. a crock of sh@te and now I’m going to get insulted by a generic pathetic message of apology with generic links and number that will put me back into the virgin matrix of sh&te

Thanks for taking the time to leave a review. It is very disappointing to hear about the issues that you've had with us, I can assure you that this isn't the standard of service that we aim to provide.

The speeds you get at home will, of course, depend on a variety of factors, it depends on your package, what and how many devices you have, how they are connected amongst other things.
We do have a download speed guarantee though - this will show the minimum speed we would expect for all our packages - you can take a look at that here: virg.in/speedsexplained
If after having a look, you're getting lower than the minimum over a direct wired connection then please do chat with our Tech Support on 150/03454541111 who will be more than happy to help you out.
