Worst experience ever selling a car

Was quoted a purchase price for my car, but since I had just paid it off and had not received a title yet, apparently it put a kink in things. I spent HOURS in the text chat and over 2 hours in hold times across 3 calls. One of those was to a supervisor who was actually the only person I spoke to that DID have an attitude. I live in Arizona and our state has not had paper titles for over 2 years. I had a title summary showing a clear title notarized directly from DMV, but they still wanted a paper title. In 2021 where car vending machines exist, they couldn't handle this one simple service. So after a second trip to the DMV to verify I could not get a paper title from them I went home and checked with Carmax. I got 2k more for my car and no nonsense. Was a longer wait than I expected there, but totally worth not having to deal with carvana
