Ok but need to check their processes

I found this company via a comparison site and they offered a decent valuation for the iPhone 8 I had to recycle, so I went ahead.

I might just have been unlucky or perhaps their email marketing system was playing up, but having completed the transaction late on a Friday night - I was then bombarded with emails throughout the weekend that weren’t properly personalised reminding me that they hadn’t received my item yet (well, the Post Office isn’t open!) You get a free delivery label but no packaging.

Once the phone was sent, I got a subsequent email acknowledging my receipt and saying payment would be made as soon as they had inspected it and then...nothing...

I waited a week and a half and kept checking my bank account but payment hasn’t been made. I started to wonder if it was a scam, as there was no contact number, just a postal address on all their communication but I eventually found a number and called them. To be fair to them, once I spoke to them payment was received within 2 hours, so it looks like this was just an oversight but maybe they need to check their systems?

Overall, I would be prepared to give them a second chance which is why I’ve given a 3-star rating.
