Terrible customer service
Contacted scottish power in October/november last year and was advised £17 in credit. Have been continually paying £125 a month over winter months and according to figures on smart meter i am possibly now £30 in debt. Received an email saying urgent action required as i owe £320. Contacted them and had to listen to a man who told me smart meters are extremely accurate so i quoted cost according to my meter...he then said i spent £400 on gas/electric last March????? I said this is impossible and he said sometimes these jumps happen??? Wanted to speak to a manager...wouldnt let me..I then said i wanted to make a complaint and he said i could do that but it would be a closed complaint as i have nothing to complain about!!! I then sent a seperate email to complain and asking someone to call me. Now received an email without contacting me to discuss. The email doesnt even nearly cover my complaint. Will give to end of week for contact from them or going to ombudsmen.. if smart meters are so far out what is the point? Worst experience of customer service i have ever encountered. Would advise people to steer clear
