I wouldn’t recommend SumUp to anyone…

I wouldn’t recommend SumUp to anyone if anyone considering do you have think twice
My customer card was declined twice and then both transection went through which as you can see clearly on my statement both transaction was declined and later on I’ve been notified The both transaction went through I refund the customer back and Sumup charge me extra £10 fee that doesn’t make any sense one I refund the customer back and the second I have to pay an extra £10 so it’s a bad experience for me and it doesn’t make any sense you refund the money and plus you pay an extra £10 so be careful with this company no I am considering to leave this and using PayPal they are quite good and I checked the rating they are five-star MDRKAR64

As stated in clause 9.2 of our Terms and Conditions, which you’ve accepted upon registration, once a chargeback has been issued we reserve the right to charge a fee for investigating the chargeback in question. Please be advised, this fee is imposed on us by banking partners and card schemes.

We understand that the transaction has been charged twice, accidentally, however should your customer have reached out to you to request a refund, the result of this chargeback could have been avoided. We’d like to notify you that as a gesture of goodwill, we’ve applied a £10 fee credit to your SumUp Profile.
