Do not buy from these people!

One of the worktops I ordered had forklift damage. Unfortunately I assumed that they used a reputable delivery company so didn’t check the worktops thoroughly. I cut 2cm off one end before noticing the damage on the other side of the worktop, nowhere near the cut. Apparently this means I can’t return a damaged worktop despite the fact that I could not have caused it. I don’t have a forklift to cause a dent like that! Customer services were very unhelpful. I asked them to look at the pictures that the delivery driver took but they still won’t replace it, offering a 20% discount off another one, leaving me to pay delivery again and to dispose of their damaged worktop. Please try a different company.
I am shocked by their appalling service.

At no point did I say the original delivery driver pointed out the damage. You need to read what is written.

Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. I do apologise that you received a damaged product from us. Whilst we do always endeavour to deliver items in perfect condition unfortunately unexpected issues can sometimes occur. As per your correspondence with Customer Support, we did review the images supplied by our delivery team and the damage to the worktop was not visible on these. You advised us that you did not inspect the product prior to beginning installation, but that the damage was pointed out by our drivers at the time of delivery.

Whilst we did accept that the damage to the surface may well of been caused in transit unfortunately we do ask that any issues are reported to us prior to any cutting or fitting taking place as once the worktops have been amended they are deemed as accepted and not eligible for a refund or replacement. Whilst I do appreciate that this is frustrating unfortunately we are not able to replace damaged items that have been cut free of charge. We did however offer a 20% discount from a new order as a goodwill gesture for you by way of an apology, unfortunately this is the maximum remedial action we were able to take in this case.
