Update on previous review of FedEx
I previously wrote of my bad experience with FedEx trying to charge me a second time for duty I had already paid. I mentioned it was impossible to get hold of them as email and text were ‘no reply’ and the phone just directed me to a form which was basically blinkered with no recourse to discuss a problem. I was amazed three days ago to receive a letter and accompanying demand for the same amount of money for the same goods. I had paid the amount prior to delivery. I phoned again and this time after several minutes an alternative email was given. Hallelujah! I wrote telling them it was annoying and needless to contact me when I had already paid and attached s copy of my successful payment page and their thank you email telling me they had received the money. All I got was automated response and no one has bothered to get back to me to apologise. I am appalled at their incompetence and bad manners.
