don't get in a checkmate with chess

Please if your thinking of using chess don't, i have been on the phone for over 3 hours in to total trying to sort out my rubbish internet, that wont work at all, or at 1 or 2 meg upload speed. just keep being fobbed off, one young lady there told me that's what i would expect from wireless. and when i asked for a manager, was told they would tell me the same,
cant get hold of account manager, wont reply to emails, I tried the customer portal you cant log into that. its absolute rubbish customer service, i mite even cancel my direct debit to chess, I'm not paying £80 a month for something i cant use, its times like this when you need all the support you can get for your business, but you wont get it from chess, so look at all the other reviews, and listen to me, DONT USE CHESS. this will probably get a very concerned reply from a chess employee, but they wont do any thing.
Thank you for the reply Zoe, but i have to disagree, yes i am getting a new router, but only because i have had to phone up again twice, even going through testing for a hour and a half last week, on my phone time, and being told router was the problem, and i would get a new one, it wasn't ordered, no one else new about it, ? and you are charging me £50 for it. even though i have paid chess hundreds of pounds, and started a new contract a couple of months ago, a new customer would get a router, why do i have to pay. there is no loyalty to long term customer.

This is disappointing to read as this would never be our intention for our customers to feel this way and we are eager to turn this around for you.

Unfortunately, faults do occur from time to time which are beyond our control. Please note that expected speeds are for hardwired broadband connection only as WIFI is not a guaranteed service. However, I can see that the team are proactively looking into this for you and a new router has been requested to be sent out.

The best way to contact us is to raise a support ticket via our customer portal. I am very sorry that you are struggling to log into our Customer Portal, please be assured a have report this and member of our team will be in touch with you shortly, so we can get you logged in as soon as possible.

I do appreciate your frustrations, but on the basis the service is live with Chess and we are providing this, we will require payment on time to avoid your services being restricted. I would therefore advise you to not cancel the direct debit to ensure you invoices are paid on the required date and no avoid any additional administration charges being added.
