Small issue resolved

There was a small issue with my Nib, but these guys kindly offered a refund. Superb service and slightly unexpected. Thank you, I will definitely use these guys again.

Morning Caddy,
I've just spoken to the customer services team to find out who you dealt with. The lady in question is relatively new and mortified that she had given incorrect information to a customer.
All Lamy nibs are tested before being packed and because the factory is ultra modern and fully automated, ink residue is often left on the nibs after the washing process. I've just checked a handful of random Lamy nibs and 30-40% of them have ink residue.

Our customer services team member was right about us not selling second hand nibs but wrong about blue oil, for which we apologise. The team will give you a refund for the nib and postage are a gesture of our goodwill and hope this restores your faith in The Pen Shop.
