Review of BBC

It saddens me to write how I feel about…

It saddens me to write how I feel about the BBC and it causes me to pause and check whether it is me since the BBC should be 'right' and, if I am against it, is it me? But it is the BBC that is bad.

When we were young, we drove as far south in France to the limits of LW and we have spent most of our lives listening to the Today program, Newsnight and Question Time etc.

We now decline to watch or listen to anything from the BBC save for BBC R3 (but even that has its utterly inane aspects)

Almost every program - regardless of its subject - is slanted by woke political activists who are not reigned in by management (who no doubt support it). Proper, responsible, honourable standards of journalism are non-existent and it is a free-for-all for activists posing as journalists.

One morning I worked from home and listened to R4 (my erstwhile home) and within an hour and on two separate programs, there were gratuitous comments denigrating white males - of course there was no challenge to these as his was all part of BBC (social) programming. I was shocked to hear the first and along came the next.

A great shame what has happened to the BBC. I recognise what its value ought to be to a nation. It still has a value as an institution but it is rotten to the core having squandered its value - all watched over and cheered on by its management.
